February 1 (Tuesday), 18:00 at Contemporary Art Center (Vokiečių str. 2, Vilnius) a discussion was held about Lithuanian architecture museum/center.

Participants: architect Algirdas Kaušpėdas, architect, publisher Audrys Karalius, architect, VDA professor Marius Pranas Šaliamoras, NDG director Lolita Jablonskienė, art critic, critic Skaidra Trilupaitytė, art critic, theorist Marija Drėmaitė and everybody who cares about future of Lithuanian architecture museum/center.

International confederation of architectural museums ICAM has 141 architecture museums/centers from all around the world from them over 70 are in European Union. With range of activities, economy and number of employed people Architecture museums and centers are representing messages that "Architecture is important part of culture" and "Architecture is important part of economy". However Lithuanian architecture museums was closed in 2006. That is why we ask: does Lithuania need and architecture museum/center? How do we want it? What we are able to have now? What are we doing today?
